The same form exists in pyrite, and the other part exists in limonite, hematite, and maghemite. Cobalt in pyrite accounts for about 60%, cobalt in iron minerals accounts for about 15%, and cobalt in other gangues accounts for about 25%. Among the pure pyrite monomers, the highest cobalt content is 0.79%. A portion of the pyrite is oxidized to limonite. Under the light sheet, there is still a residue of pyrite in the limonite. Therefore, after research and examination, the heavy magnetic weight combined sorting process (see Figure 1) is used to recover the cobalt-containing pyrite in the magnetic separation tailings. The favorable minerals of zircon , monazite and iron-bearing ferrous stone, which are comprehensively utilized in the Beibei Bay seashore ilmenite ore deposit, are associated. Small concentrators in Tiezhou and Fangcheng use dry magnetic separation to produce a single ilmenite product. The tailings still contain a large amount of useful minerals: fine-grained ilmenite 10%-20%, iron-bearing rutile 1% to 3% with anatase, 7% to 22% for zircon, 1% to 5% for monazite; secondly, tailings sand contains a large amount of quartz sand, a very small amount of tourmaline , leucox , garnet , Minerals such as biotite . The analysis of the tailings sand shows that the particle size is mostly between -0.2+0.05mm, and the monomer dissociation degree of the mineral is very ideal, and the living body is only occasionally seen. In order to achieve the purpose of comprehensive utilization, the plant adopts the heavy-floating-magnetic joint production process to separate and recycle the selected titanium tailings, and only increases the number of the original PC3×600 dry magnetic separator based on the selected plant. The tailings are sorted by a shaker to discard most of the gangue minerals, so that the heavy minerals are enriched. At the same time, after the shaker is sorted, the clay wrapped on the heavy minerals is removed, and the minerals are exposed to the original organs. The flotation operation mixes zircon and monazite together, and as the next magnetic selection, the ilmenite and iron-bearing rutile are basically left in the flotation tailings. The particle size of the coarse concentrate into the float is below 0.2mm, and the concentration of the slurry is controlled at about 50% according to the level of the floating grade. Flotation can be carried out at normal temperature. Normal reagent system as follows: pH adjusting agent sodium 0.31kg / t, a commercially available soap (formulated as a 20% solution concentration) 0.15 ~ 0.03kg / t, coal oil collector 0.05 ~ 0.01kg / t, flotation Time: Stir for 7 min, rough for 12 min, sweep for 5 min. The flotation tailings are combined with the shaker mine, and a second shaker is selected to recover the coarser zircon and monazite.
The dried mixed concentrate is subjected to magnetic separation by PC3×600 dry three-plate magnetic separator, and a zircon qualified concentrate of (ZrHf)O 2 greater than 60% can be obtained by one magnetic separation, and the magnetic product is re-examined. A magnetic separation tailings is a monazite product (TR51%).
The process is used to select the heavy minerals in the tailings of the man-made wool after the selection of titanium, and at the same time obtain the qualified products of the titanium-containing products and the monazite, and the recovery rate of the zircon concentrate. High, high technical indicators, improve the comprehensive utilization of ore, and significantly improve the economic benefits of the plant.
