ILJIN, a Korean automotive bearing manufacturer, recently announced that ILJIN will invest and build a factory in Phoenix, Alabama.
ILJIN is an international parts supplier that supplies parts for Hyundai Motors and Kia Motors. ILJIN entered the auto parts industry in 1994 and mainly supplies wheel bearings.
Phoenix City Chief Executive Sonny Coulter said: “We are very happy with ILJIN's presence in Phoenix. ILJIN's investment in Phoenix will bring benefits to Phoenix residents.â€
ILJIN will invest $31 million in Phoenix and create 108 jobs. ILJIN will recruit people starting next March and plans to start production from July next year.
