They are self-aligning, which makes them insensitive to misalignment between the shaft and housing, as well as shaft deflection or bending. These bearings can support high radial loads or suitable axial loads in both directions.

E: This is the latest design, featuring symmetric spherical rollers, two-piece pressed steel cages, a flangeless inner ring, and a guide ring centered on the cage. The guide ring around the outer ring improves lubrication conditions and reduces friction, helping the rollers move smoothly into the loaded area. It also enhances load capacity due to longer rollers.
EAE4 Type: This type includes symmetric spherical rollers, two-piece pressed steel cages, and a flangeless inner ring with a guide ring. It typically has more rollers and a higher dynamic load rating, offering a simpler structure, higher load capacity, lower friction, less noise, and a longer service life.
CC Type: This design features two pressed steel cages, a flangeless inner ring, and a guide ring centered on the inner ring. It uses symmetric spherical rollers, providing greater load capacity and longer life compared to the CA type.
CA Type: This type consists of a single machined brass cage, an inner ring with double flanges, and a guide ring centered on the inner ring. It offers higher limit speeds and relatively lower noise levels.
MB Type: This type includes two machined brass cages, an inner ring with double flanges, and a guide ring centered on the inner ring. Its performance is similar to the CA type but with a slightly lower load rating.
Tapered Bore: Most spherical roller bearings have a tapered bore, except for some models. These bearings can be used with adapters or pull-off sleeves for easy installation and removal.
