The longer roller length increases the load rating.
EAE4 type: It consists of symmetric spherical rollers, two-piece pressed steel cages, a flangeless inner ring, and a guide ring centered on the cage. This type typically has more rollers and a higher dynamic load rating, offering a simpler structure, higher load capacity, lower friction, less noise, and a longer lifespan.
CC type: It includes two pressed steel cages, a flangeless inner ring, and a guide ring centered on the inner ring. It uses symmetrical spherical rollers, which allow for greater load capacity and longer service life compared to CA type.
CA type: It consists of a single machined brass cage, an inner ring with double flanges, and a guide ring centered on the inner ring. This type offers a higher limit speed and relatively lower noise levels.
MB type: It consists of two machined brass cages, an inner ring with double flanges, and a guide ring centered on the inner ring. Its performance is similar to the CA type, but with a lower load rating.
Tapered Bore: Most spherical roller bearings are produced with a tapered bore, except for some models. These bearings can be used with adapters or withdrawal sleeves for easy installation and removal. Bearings from the 240, 241, 248, and 249 series have a taper of 1:30 with the suffix K30, while others have a taper of 1:12 with the suffix K.
