In order to ensure the safety of animal-originated foods and safeguard people's health, according to the "Regulations on the Administration of Veterinary Drugs," the Ministry of Health has formulated the "List of Banned Veterinary Drugs and Other Compounds for Food Animals" (hereinafter referred to as the "Prohibited List"), which is hereby announced as follows:
1. The raw material medicines listed in Serial Nos. 1 to 18 of the “Prohibited List†and the products of their single and compound preparations have ceased production. The varieties that have been included in the national standards for veterinary drugs, professional standards of the Ministry of Agriculture, and local standards for veterinary drugs have their quality standards abolished. , withdraw its product approval number; imported veterinary drugs that have been registered in China, abolished the quality standards for imported veterinary drugs, and cancelled its Registration License for Imported Veterinary Drugs.
2. As of May 15, 2002, the raw material medicines and its unilateral and compound preparation products listed in the “Prohibited List†serial numbers 1 to 18 had ceased operation and use.
3. The APIs of the varieties listed in Serial Nos. 19 to 21 of the List of Prohibited Lists, as well as their single and compound preparations, must not be used in the feeding of food animals for the purpose of resisting stress, increasing feed remuneration and promoting the growth of animals.
