The large-scale coal-to-methanol project in Yuanbaoshan District, Chifeng is a construction project with a total investment of 4 billion yuan from China Zeyu Group, with a capacity of 1 million tons of methanol per year. The project originally intended to introduce foreign technology and equipment. In July of this year, Zehe Group invited experts from design and research institutes to hold an expert demonstration meeting for the innovative technical route of the project portfolio, finally determined to take the localization route of independent innovation, and adopt a full range of domestically developed technology and equipment.
The cooperation agreement signed this time clearly stated that Zechao Group decided to adopt the horizontal methanol synthesis process and corresponding equipment manufacturing technology independently developed by Linda in the methanol synthesis section. According to reports, the large methanol technology developed by Linda Corporation aims to achieve a one million ton-scale large methanol single-synthesis tower based on the requirements of “equal temperature, high efficiency, energy conservation, reliability, low investment, and easy large-scale production†and through reasonable improvement.
