The National Development and Reform Commission promulgated the "Technical Policy for the Recycling and Utilization of Automobile Products", which calls for the realization of a 95% recyclable utilization target for automobiles in 2017. Zhu Fushou, general manager of Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd., said that the company plans to invest 200 million yuan to build a 300-mu auto parts remanufacturing pilot base in three years. After completion, it is estimated that 50,000 waste cars can be recycled, 100,000 tons of waste materials can be recycled, and 100,000 sets of spare parts can be remanufactured.
