**TORONTO, August 1, 2024** – Rexel Energy Solutions (RES), a division of Nedco, has teamed up with ChargeLab to assist Canadian enterprises in securing up to 50% of the funding required for purchasing and installing new electric vehicle (EV) charging stations. This financial aid comes from the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP), managed by Natural Resources Canada.
Applications under ZEVIP became accessible on July 2, 2024, and will conclude on September 19, 2024. This marks the first wave of ZEVIP grants available to EV charger providers since 2022. Eligibility extends to Canadian businesses, utilities, municipalities, condominium corporations, and other hosts who plan to install at least two direct current (DC) fast chargers or twenty Level 2 chargers. The grant covers up to half of the total project costs, with each organization eligible for a maximum of $5 million.

ChargeLab develops network management software for EV chargers, allowing businesses to deploy, monetize, and oversee their charging hardware seamlessly. ZEVIP mandates that chargers be connected to a network, a task ChargeLab simplifies for its clients. Additionally, ChargeLab has crafted reports tailored to meet the program’s new uptime monitoring requirements.
