Introduction to tin ore dressing method

The ore dressing method is determined by its own characteristics. Since the density of cassiterite is larger than that of symbiotic minerals, the traditional ore dressing process of tin ore is gravity beneficiation. In recent years, with the passage of time, the size of the cassiterite in the ore selected has been continuously thinned, resulting in the sulphur flotation process. Further, since tin minerals often present various iron oxide minerals, such as magnetite, hematite and limonite, these minerals are not well separated cassiterite flotation and reselection, so in recent years Magnetic separation operations have occurred in the tin ore dressing process.

Take the Yunxi company mine as an example: most of them use the floating-heavy beneficiation process of the Daxie plant sulphide ore workshop for more than 30 years. The process is: the original ore is crushed to 20mm, and a closed-circuit grinding to 0.074mm (200 mesh) accounts for 60%~ 65%, mixed flotation, one coarse and two sweeping one fine; copper sulfur separation grinding to 0.074mm accounted for 95% one coarse two sweeping three fines, copper concentrate, sulfur concentrate; mixed flotation tailings and then selected sulfide Re-election. After the first and second stages of bed selection; one re-washing; mud selection; tin coarse concentrate desulfurization flotation, tin concentrate, rich medium ore.

Changpo Concentrator is one of the selected factories of Dachang Mining Bureau. The ore dressing process is as follows:

First, the raw ore is crushed to -20mm and then sieved into two grades of 20~4 and 4~0mm, and 20~4mm is preselected into the heavy medium cyclone. The heavy medium cyclone heavy product is pre-selected by jigging after a rod mill. The jigging tailings is screened with 2mm vibrating screen to remove +2mm as waste tailings, and -2mm into the shaker. The jigging and shaker concentrates and medium mines are divided into two systems based on grades, which are regrind and mixed flotation. Flotation tailings shaking sorting Conformanceand tin concentrate; mixed and then finely ground flotation concentrate for flotation separation of lead zinc, antimony and lead, respectively, outputs concentrate and zinc concentrate. The re-selected slime enters the Φ300mm cyclone, and the overflow is removed by the Φ125 and Φ75mm hydrocyclones. The sedimentation is concentrated and floated for desulfurization.

ANSI Flange

ASME B16.5 Pipe Flanges and Flanged Fittings: NPS 1/2 through NPS 24 Metric/Inch Standard covers pressure-temperature ratings, materials, dimensions, tolerances, marking, testing, and methods of designating openings for pipe flanges and flanged fittings. Included are:
(1) flanges with rating class designations 150, 300, 400, 600, 900, and 1500 in sizes NPS 1/2 through NPS 24 and flanges with rating class designation 2500 in sizes NPS 1/2 through NPS 12, with requirements given in both metric and U.S. Customary units with diameter of bolts and flange bolt holes expressed in inch units;
(2) flanged fittings with rating class designation 150 and 300 in sizes NPS 1/2 through NPS 24, with requirements given in both metric and U.S. Customary units with diameter of bolts and flange bolt holes expressed in inch units;
(3) flanged fittings with rating class designation 400, 600, 900, and 1500 in sizes NPS 1/2 through NPS 24 and flanged fittings with rating class designation 2500 in sizes NPS 1/2 through NPS 12 that are acknowledged in Non-Mandatory Appendix E in which only U.S. Customary units are provided.

B16.5 is limited to flanges and flanged fittings made from cast or forged materials, and blind flanges and certain reducing flanges made from cast, forged, or plate materials. Also included in this Standard are requirements and recommendations regarding flange bolting, flange gaskets, and flange joints.
This Standard is to be used in conjunction with equipment described in other volumes of the ASME B16 Series of Standards as well as with other ASME standards, such as the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and the B31 Piping Codes.

Careful application of these B16 Standards will help users to comply with applicable regulations within their jurisdictions, while achieving the operational, cost and safety benefits to be gained from the many industry best-practices detailed within these volumes.

Intended for manufacturers, owners, employers, users and others concerned with the specification, buying, maintenance, training and safe use of valves with pressure equipment, plus all potential governing entities.
