Often used as a booster for detonators.

Pentaerythritol tetranitrate, colorless crystal, insoluble in water. When the density is 1.74g·cm-3, the explosion heat is 6225kJ·kg-1, the explosion power is high, the detonation speed is 8400m·s-1, the explosion force is 500mL, and the intensity is 15mm.
