The Canadian Coast Guard is implementing a ship renewal program that will last for many years. Including several icebreakers in the Canadian Arctic, the Canadian Coast Guard has nearly 120 ships in six time zones. Radio Holland is preparing to deliver the above-mentioned equipment to the first shipment of the Canadian Coast Guard in July.
It is reported that Hike Metal Products has signed a contract with Radio Holland for all navigation and communication equipment including Furuno radar and electronic chart system, Hatteland display, Raytheon Anschütz Horizon MF gyro compass. Radio Holland will deliver the first equipment to Hike Metal Products in August. The delivery period for equipment that has been contracted will continue until 2020. Radio Holland and Hike Metal Shipyard also provide training for the Canadian Coast Guard to use these new equipment.
