At present, a massive mudslide disaster in Pula Township, Gonglong Nulang Nuzu Autonomous County, Yunnan Province has caused 4 deaths and 88 missing persons. At 15 o'clock on the 19th, Qingchuan County in Sichuan Province suffered severe damage during the heavy rains since early morning of the 19th. One person died and 12 were missing. On the afternoon of the 19th, a passenger train on the Baocheng Line from Xi’an to Kunming passed through the Shiting River Bridge in Guanghan, and the two piers fell into the river due to flooding. The Baocheng line was interrupted.

In recent days, heavy rains frequently hit parts of the western Sichuan Basin, the eastern part of the northwestern region, and North China. The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue heavy rain and yellow warnings at 18:00 on the 19th.
