It is reported that Wärtsilä Hamworthy has received a contract to provide ballast water management system (BWMS) for four platform supply vessels (PSV) built by Tidewater Marine, a marine service provider in China.
It is reported that Wärtsilä Hamworthy's range includes four Aquarius UV treatment systems with a capacity of 250m3/h, assembled and delivered by the UK. The first system is expected to be delivered to the shipyard in January 2013 and the remainder will be delivered during the next 2-3 months.
