The 200,000-ton/year caprolactam project (CPL project) is a key project in Hubei Province and uses a cyclohexanone-hydroxylamine DSM/HPO process based on cyclohexanone oxime Beckmann rearrangement. The first phase of the project includes a 100,000 ton/year cyclohexanone plant, a 100,000 ton/year ammonia sulphonation unit, a 100,000 ton/year caprolactam unit, and a supporting 300,000 ton/year hydrogen peroxide unit, a thermoelectric unit, and a spent alkali treatment unit. Water treatment equipment, desulfurization equipment, public works, etc. Caprolactam production process is a high-risk production environment with high temperature, high pressure, flammable, explosive, toxic, and corrosive. The production process is complicated and difficult to control. The project uses the WebField ECS-700 DCS, Operator Simulation Training System (OTS), and Instrumentation Management System (SAMS). The DCS I/O measurement point is 8880 points, with 6 field control rooms and 1 dispatch center. A total of 55 PCs, 15 control stations, and 7 engineering stations are installed in the complete DCS, and 40 third-party control systems are connected for communication. The various field control rooms and dispatch centers are connected by optical cables.
Caprolactam is an important organic chemical raw material, mainly used for the production of polyamide chips, widely used in textile, automotive, machinery, construction and other fields; its production technology is high in content, high value-added products, profit margins, production capacity is mainly concentrated in BASF , DSM, Honeywell and other world-renowned chemical giants; China started late, and production capacity is insufficient, so the domestic market has broad prospects for development. The project has laid a solid foundation for the company's entry into more large-scale caprolactam plants and has typical market development significance.
