Pure electric city commercial vehicle develops rapidly in China

The International Cooperation Forum for Automobile and Motorcycle Industry co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government was held in Chongqing on May 21. The seven guests from home and abroad attended the dialogue and exchanges on the international development trends, policy comparison and technical cooperation of new energy vehicles.

2020 world electric vehicle production is expected to account for 7% - 12%

Chairman of the World Electric Vehicle Association, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and academician of the British Royal Academy of Engineering Chen Qingquan said that the melting of the ice in the Arctic Ocean is getting faster and faster. We must save the earth and the car has a great responsibility here. In order to develop new energy vehicles in various countries of the world, the government must first guide and set laws and regulations. The new regulations mainly regulate energy consumption, and companies will develop products based on regulations. Relatively speaking, Europe has worked better. China's laws and regulations have not been perfect before, and improvements have been made recently.

It is necessary to formulate a scientific and advanced technological route and the line of industrialization that conforms to the actual conditions of each country. Going down such a technical line, it is expected that the world's electric vehicle production will reach 7%-12% in 2020. The proportion of China in this may be even greater.

To promote electric vehicles, we must achieve "three good". First, good product; second, good infrastructure; third, good business model. This requires suppliers to be bundled with OEMs in order to launch products with more cost-effective advantages, while infrastructure requires government participation, and business models require governments, OEMs and auto trading companies to participate together. Therefore, the existing "New Energy Vehicle Industry Alliance" in Chongqing still needs to expand its scale, introduce more enterprises, and at the same time, it must really play the role of the alliance.

UK will implement incentives for low-carbon transportation

Zhang Bairen, the consul of climate change and energy at the British Consulate General in Chongqing, said that the automotive industry has a significant position in the UK, with 9.5 billion pounds in annual output and 180,000 direct employees, but it faces oil, financial and other crisis tests. Emissions from road traffic in the United Kingdom account for 19% of total emissions. Therefore, more efforts are needed to promote the development of ultra-low-carbon transportation.

The United Kingdom will implement a reward mechanism for consumers, and ultra-low-carbon cars will enjoy the following benefits: the reduction of car use tax, the implementation of the lowest value-added tax and so on.

Certain locations in Central London will receive car congestion fees and driving fees. The charge period is from Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm. For electric vehicles, alternative fuel vehicles, and more than nine vehicles free of charge. Alternative fuel vehicles also enjoy reduced parking fees when they park in central London.

The UK has a huge role in promoting the EU to promote innovation in low-carbon automobiles. The United Kingdom proposes to emit 130 grams per kilometre by 2015 and 95 grams per kilometre by 2020.

Pure electric city commercial vehicle develops rapidly in China

Fu Yuwu, executive vice chairman and secretary-general of the China Automotive Engineering Society, said that the global automobile production and marketing center has gradually shifted to China. In 2009, the output of automobiles in Japan, the United States, and Germany fell by 31.5%, 34.3%, and 13.9% year-on-year, respectively, while the production and sales of Chinese automobiles both exceeded 13 million, making it the world's number one. In the near future, China's auto production and sales will rank first in the world. The automobile industry in China and India will rise rapidly.

During the "12th Five-Year Plan" period, the pace of development of new energy vehicles in the world will be very fast, and China's new energy vehicles are in a critical stage from R&D to industrialization. In response, the Chinese government has made two major policy guidance. First, the first plan of the ten major industrial plans, namely the “Regulations on the Adjustment and Revitalization of the Automotive Industry” has been issued; the second is the series of preferential policies for new energy vehicles that will be introduced recently.

Professor Lin Cheng, deputy director of the National Engineering Laboratory for electric vehicles and a professor at Beijing Institute of Technology, said that the development of pure electric city commercial vehicles in advance is in line with China's national conditions. The main push for pure electric city commercial vehicles is that they can focus on solving pollution problems. Second, they can be fixed-point operation. Third, they can focus on charging and balancing the power grid. Fourth, independent technical base is better. Fifth, existing technologies can meet requirements. To promote the development of the parts and components industry, the sixth is that the transport capacity is highly efficient and easy for the government to take the lead.

As early as 1994, China developed the first Yuanwang electric bus. After 2000, it had officially established electric bus lines in Beijing. In 2008, 50 electric buses were operated in the central Olympic area and a total of more than 130,000 kilometers were completed. , carrying more than 140,000 passengers. After the Olympics, the Olympic electric bus was commercialized on multiple lines such as 121, Financial Street, Pro 6, 6 5, 81, and 84. The vehicle has been operating normally, with a total cumulative operation of approximately 4 million kilometers. .

On September 25, 2009, Beijing initiated the launch of 30 electric sanitation vehicles at Financial Street in Xicheng District, marking Beijing's pure electric vehicle technology has begun to mature. In view of the deep foundation of the Beijing pure electric bus technology and the successful application of the Olympic Games, the Shanghai Municipal Government and SAIC Group decided to use the Beijing Olympics program for the Expo. There are 120 pure electric buses being used in the Expo River Transit bus line. The scale of the charging station is the Olympic Games. More than doubled, the operating condition is good.

At present, China has formed a relatively complete self-developed technology platform for pure electric buses. However, the high cost of power batteries, short service life, short driving range, and long charging time are still the key issues that restrict the large-scale promotion of commercial vehicles in pure electric cities. .
