Rapid Soil Moisture Temperature Analyzer Analysis of the Influence of Covering Technology on Soil Water and Heat in Pineapple Production Area

Pineapple grows in Guangdong in a large area, but most of the producing areas are hot and drought in autumn, while in winter, it is dry and relatively low temperature, which leads to slow growth of pineapple plants. In order to increase production, mulching techniques were used to improve the temperature of the soil in the tillage layer, reduce the loss of soil moisture, and increase the utilization of soil moisture and nutrients. From the production, it was found that the growth of mulching pineapple plants was significantly accelerated, which could promote flowering and mature the market earlier. The effect of mulching technology on soil hydrothermal conditions can be measured and analyzed using a rapid soil moisture analyzer.

Through the rapid soil moisture temperature measurement, it was found that the effect of plastic film mulching on the diurnal variation of soil temperature in autumn and winter pineapple gardens in Guangdong was different. The maximum temperature in the soil at 10cm deep in the open season reaches 35.0°C, the lowest temperature is 25.1°C, the difference between the highest and lowest temperature is 9.9°C, and the highest temperature after the mulching is 30.5°C, the lowest temperature is 26.0°C, the highest and the lowest The temperature difference is 4.5°C; the difference between the highest and lowest temperatures in the soil 20cm deep after the mulching film is 2.8°C, and the difference in photography is 5.5°C. The mulching of plastic film relieves the dramatic increase of soil temperature to some extent. The soil temperature at the depth of 10cm and 20cm in winter was higher than that in the control. The depth of soil in the depth of 10cm was 2.0°C higher than the control at 7:30 in the morning and 4.5°C higher than the control at 15:00. The soil at the depth of 20cm was higher than the control at 7:30 in the morning. At 1.4°C, 16:30 higher than the control at 2.8°C, it can be seen that mulching can keep the soil temperature at a relatively stable level in winter.

At the same time, mulch film coverage reduced soil moisture evaporation, soil moisture content is high, soil moisture is soft, and the control soil is exposed to air for a long time, the water evaporates quickly, soil water loss is more, the soil is obviously dry. The data from the Fast Soil Moisture Thermometer showed that in the autumn, the water contents of 0~10cm and 10~20cm soil layers after the mulching were 18.8% and 18.6%, respectively, which were 67.8% and 30.1% higher than those of the control. In the winter, the mulch The water content of soil layer after 0~10cm and 10~20cm coverage increased by 91.4% and 31.8%, respectively, compared with the control, which significantly increased the water content of pineapple soil (P<0.05).

The determination of the hydrothermal conditions of the pine soil in the pineapple-growing area covered with plastic film by the rapid soil moisture analyzer revealed that the effect of each season on the cultivation of pineapple covered with mulching film was different. In the autumn, the soil temperature at high temperatures could be reduced. Increasing the soil temperature at low winter temperatures kept the pineapple orchard soil at a relatively constant and suitable temperature range. There was no drastic change in autumnal highs and sudden low winters during open cultivation. The effect of mulching on the soil temperature is that the mulching reduces the evaporation of soil moisture, maintains a relatively high and stable moisture content of the soil, the specific heat of the water is large, and the temperature change is small.

Synthetic Winch Rope Flatlink

Conventional winch hooks can cut and fray recovery straps and often allow strap ends to escape during momentary slack cycles of a typical winching recovery.  Screw pin shackles do not allow strap loops to escape due to the secure screw pin attachment.   The FlatLink does not require splicing and is compatible with steel cables or synthetic ropes up to 3/8 inches in diameter.  The cable eye is retained in the FlatLink by a 5/8 inch diameter grade 5 steel  double shear pin and internal snap ring.  It is installed easily in minutes.  The EPDM Rubber Guards protect alloy fairleads and are securely attached to the FlatLink with 4 barbed tips.  The FlatLink stows neatly against either roller or Hawse type fairleads and is designed to be used with common 3/4 inch shackles.
