Volvo Group (ABVolvo) and the DEUTZ (DEUTZAG) signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding, we are committed to long-term development of a new generation of off-road use medium-sized engines. This memorandum of understanding aims to establish a majority-owned joint venture company of Deutz, which produces medium-sized engines for off-road use in China. The joint venture will help the Volvo Group expand its market share of non-road product applications in Asia. The formal cooperation between Volvo Group and Deutz will be formally initiated after both parties finally sign a legally binding contract.

The new series engines have the characteristics of small size, high power, low noise, good emission, and easy cold starting.
