This image of 674 was captured at a 5-11 on Grand and Austin. The unit was destroyed just one night later during a 5-11 and 5 specials at 37th and Iron Street when a wall collapsed on it. To my knowledge, it was never replaced. Gordon J. Nord, Jr. photo

Inflatable Tent

An inflatable tent is a type of tent used for activities and drills, usually made of waterproof, durable materials that provide shelter and protection in outdoor environments. Inflatable tents are usually used for field training, field camping, rescue operations, drills and other activities. They can provide functions such as accommodation, medical care, storage, command centers, toilets and shower rooms. Inflatable tents have the features of quick installation and removal to accommodate quick moves and emergencies. Due to their inflatable frames, they can be inflated and deflated within several minutes with electric air pumps and limited personnel. These inflatable tents can also be equipped with high-tech equipment such as solar power generation systems, communication equipment, and air-conditioning systems to provide more convenience and protection. Different sizes and colors are available for different practical needs. There are small tents for single person and large tents for multiple people.
