According to a recent report in *Shaanxi Daily*, a 900-ton transport and racking system, developed by China Railway Construction Machinery Research and Design Institute Co., Ltd. and manufactured by Shanxi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd. (commonly known as "Construction Machinery"), was successfully deployed in Juning, Anhui Province. This marked a significant milestone in the construction of the Hefei-Nanjing High-Speed Railway Passenger Dedicated Line. For the first time in Chinese railway history, a 32-meter-long, 900-ton double-hole box girder was installed using this advanced equipment, setting a new precedent in the field of railway bridge construction.
The breakthrough highlights the growing technical capabilities of China’s railway infrastructure industry. The 900-ton transport system consists of two key components: the YL900 beam transporter and the JQ900A bridge erection equipment. These are large-scale, specialized machines designed specifically for high-speed rail projects. With independent intellectual property rights, the system has set a new standard in terms of performance, safety, and practical application, positioning China at the forefront of railway engineering technology.
