A 2-alarm fire recently broke out in Elmwood Park. The incident began when a machine caught fire at 35 Conti Parkway, which is known as the circle. Firefighters were called to the scene and quickly arrived. Upon inspection, they found that the fire had spread to the rear of the building, making it difficult to control with their initial water line. As conditions worsened, the command center was alerted about another alarm at 36 Conti Parkway. A first alarm was dispatched, and eventually, the situation escalated to a second alarm. Firefighters had to switch to a defensive strategy due to the intensity of the blaze.
