It was Sunday morning, December 9th, 2018. A mattress warehouse that was fully sprinklered and had a metal exterior. The initial call came in via an automatic alarm, I think. From the outside, there wasn’t much to see, but it was interesting to watch Truck 26 do some aggressive ventilation using the aerial ladder, along with some cutting work on the side of the building. Here are a few photos, and you can view all the rest—including video—on the link below:

If you're interested in seeing more, the full gallery and video are available online. It's always fascinating to witness the teamwork and quick response of the firefighters. The building was fully protected with sprinklers, which likely helped contain the fire early on. Truck 26’s efforts with the aerial ladder were especially visible, showing how critical ventilation is in these types of structures. The images give a good sense of what the scene looked like from the outside, and I appreciate the chance to share them with others who might be interested in fire response and emergency operations.
The rotary vibrating screen uses a vertical vibration motor as the excitation source. Eccentric weights are installed on the upper and lower ends of the vibration motor to convert the rotational motion of the vibration motor into horizontal, vertical, and tilted three-dimensional movements. Movement is transmitted to the screen surface. Adjusting the phase angles of the upper and lower ends can change the movement trajectory of the material on the screen surface.
