Longwo Lake Pumping Station is preparing all its staff to welcome this year's Yangtze River flood season in the best possible condition, ensuring the safety of an area covering 167.2 square kilometers. As the flood season approaches, the team is making every effort to guarantee that the pumping system is fully operational and ready to handle any potential water-related challenges.
The pumping station has a total installed capacity of 2080 kW, with 11 units in place, and is designed to drain 45.8 cubic meters of water per second. To maintain the efficiency and reliability of the equipment, the station has always prioritized routine maintenance and proper upkeep. All maintenance activities are carried out strictly according to established standards and procedures, avoiding any reckless or unsafe practices.
Since the end of 2006, the team has been consistently performing thorough maintenance on the pumps and machinery, ensuring that all electrical and mechanical equipment remains in top condition. During operations, strict adherence to the "Equipment Operation Rules" and "Equipment Safety Technology Operation Rules" is maintained, which helps prevent accidents and ensures smooth and safe functioning of the system.
